A couple days and a half into our time in Sweden, and so far, so good. I was a bit tired last night, which is why there was no new posts on this site. Now I have an update on how the last day and a half has been.
We got to have Swedish meatballs from Ikea on the 29th!
Yesterday on the 29th of May, we had our first full day here in Sweden! On this day we mostly just wondered around the city, but I did have a chance to ride the subway in Stockholm, which is known for having cool looking art in it's stations!
The unfortunate thing is that the gap between the train and platform was too big for my wheelchair to get over safely. Therefore we have to call half an hour ahead of time before getting on. This came as a bit of a shock to me, because I am used to the trains just having ramps built into them back home in Wellington. Nonetheless, it was cool getting to ride the subway here!
At the end of the way, we went to get pizza for dinner, then shortly after that we went to bed
When today (the 30th of May) rolled around, we got a pretty awesome day started! First off, we got to visit the technical museum! When there I got to see a lot of cool stuff. However, my favourite part of that was the part that had retro video games to play!
There was so much to see in the museum that we ended up being in there for almost 3 hours!
Compared to this, the time it took to see the police museum was much shorter. My highlight of that part was seeing an old Swedish cop car from the 1980s!

At the time of writing this post, it is currently 5:22pm here in Stockholm. Therefore there is still a bit more we have to get out of this day! Later in the evening, I intend to do a bit of a wander to see what the city is like on a Friday night!
This is Sylas, signing off until next time!
