The moment I have been waiting so long for, more specifically for almost a year and a half is finally. I have officially arrived in SWEDEN!!!
It has taken us a very, very long time to get here, so why dont we go over this epic journey?
At the moment, I am having quite some difficulty deciding what leg of the journey was the best one. Sure we got to ride the Airbus A380, which I find to be the coolest plane in existence, but the flight from Dubai to Stockholm was quite exciting too, because that was the one that got us to our final destination! Even though these two flights went pretty well, the Qantas flight from Wellington to Sydney, despite being on a boring ol' Boeing 737, that leg of the trip was probably the best one thanks to the amazing flight crew that really went the extra to make the flight more enjoyable for us! We even got a few gifts, which consisted of a cap with the Qantas logo on it, a keychain, and last but not least, a bag full of little kit kat bars! The flight crew all seemed very excited about my trip, and I excitedly talked to them about it, and I answered a few questionsÂ
To the flight crew of QF164 from Wellington to Sydney that departed at 3:55PM, on May 27, 2025: A massive thank you for all you did to make this flight special!
Yes, we got to visit the flight deck as well!
The flight from Sydney to Dubai wasn't as special unfortunately, but the fact alone that we were able to fly on the worlds largest passenger jet, the Airbus A380, absolutely made up for it!
I will always find it crazy that something that damn huge can get off the ground at all, let alone stay up in the sky and not plonk down to the surface!

When we finally arrived in Stockholm, we took public transport into the city and then walked to our hotel. Once we checked in, we went to our hotel room and unpacked a few things, then went out for dinner. We went to a place called Max burgers, which is a fast food chain that you can really only find in Sweden (they have some locations in the other Nordic countries too I believe)
The food there was pretty damn good!
One thing I forgot to mention, before dinner we did go for a bit of a wander around the city. Here is a photo from that. After you have seen it, this post will conclude. At the end of today for us, I will have a new post up about our first full day in the Swedish capital! This is Sylas, signing off until next time!
