This post is going to be bittersweet to write, since our trip to Sweden is quickly coming to an end. Even though it may be over, I am quite happy knowing that I came to Sweden, and did what I set out to do.
On our last day here in Sweden, we went to visit the Skansen open air museum. There was a lot of cool stuff to see there!
Afterwards, it was time for us to get some lunch. I decided I wanted to have Ikea meatballs one last time, as I won't get to have them again either until the next time I travel, or until we get an Ikea in New Zealand.
After lunch, I decided to go off on my own for a bit and have one last roll around the city.Â
Weather was pretty good
Other that, my last day in Sweden was rather uneventful. By the time I publish this post, it will be 9:15am on the 6th of June, which means that soon we will be starting to make the trip home. To be honest, I am not too sad that our trip to Sweden is over. I am happy because I came and completed the quest, which was to meet the Swedish womens football team, and to explore Stockholm!
Also, this trip is not over quite yet. On our way back, we have a 21 hour stopover in Dubai, so I will of course have a post about that. Also, we only have a connection time of just under an hour and a half in Sydney, so if we miss that flight, we might end up spending a day there.
We don't know what the journey home has in store for us, but as our trip home progresses, I will keep you updated!
